Now Open: Our Niche Perfume Boutique at San Tan Village in Gilbert, AZ

by Michael Paul on Jul 16 2026

There is a new home for niche perfume in the East Valley, and it is easy to find. Day Three Fragrances is now open at San Tan Village in Gilbert, Arizona, tucked right next to Zales, between Zales and Macy's. If you have followed us online, or worn one of our scents and wondered where it all comes from, this is the room where it lives.

We built Day Three on a simple idea: a fragrance should return you to a moment. Every bottle is hand-bottled here in Arizona and composed by award-winning perfumer Michael Paul, whose Dominican-inspired scent La Tacita de Café earned the Aftel Award and a wave of global applause. Scent is the most personal thing we make, and the boutique is where you finally get to try it the way it was meant to be tried: in person, on your skin, with time to sit with it.

From Queen Creek to a Bigger Stage at San Tan Village

Many of you found us at our first boutique in Queen Creek. That little shop taught us how much people wanted a real place to discover niche fragrance in Arizona, away from the noise and the hard sell of a department store counter. So we made a move. Our new boutique at San Tan Village gives us a bigger, brighter home and puts us somewhere you can actually stroll to, right in the heart of the East Valley's favorite shopping district.

Same family, same hands, same obsession with getting a scent exactly right. Just a better place to share it with you.

What Makes This Perfume Boutique Different

We are not a fragrance counter, and we are not a mall kiosk. Day Three is an independent, niche perfume house, which means the person who made the scent is often the person handing it to you. Here is what a visit actually looks like.

Sample every scent on your skin. Fragrance changes on you. Body chemistry, warmth, and time all shape how a perfume unfolds, so the only honest way to choose one is to wear it. Come in, take your time, and live with a scent for a while before you decide. There is no rush and no pressure.

Meet the maker. Day Three is family-run and hands-on. When you visit, you are likely to be guided by the very people who compose, blend, and bottle these fragrances. Ask us anything. We love talking about the why behind a scent as much as the how.

Smell the raw materials. Great perfume starts with great ingredients, and in the boutique you can smell them for yourself. Experience the real materials behind our formulas and understand why a single note can change everything. It is the fastest way to train your nose and fall in love with the craft.

Discover a boutique exclusive. One of our scents, Say Less, lives only here. You will not find it anywhere online, so a visit is the only way to experience it.

Scents to Meet in Person

Our fragrances fall into two worlds. Our core line is drawn from Michael's own memories and experiences, and our Dominican Culture Collection is a love letter to family and heritage. Both are worth smelling side by side.

A few favorites to ask for when you visit:

  • Desert Rain, our most-loved scent, clean and fresh with a signature all its own.
  • Frost, crisp and cool, a year-round staple.
  • Edge of Eden and Tres Oros, two signatures our regulars keep coming back for.
  • La Tacita de Café and Filosofía from the Dominican Culture Collection, rich with story and place.

Not sure where to start? Our Discovery Set is the perfect way in. Sample the range at home, find the ones that speak to you, then come see us for the full bottle.

A Perfumer's Tips for Choosing Your Next Fragrance

Since we get asked this every day, here is how we would coach a friend through it:

  • Try a scent on skin, not just on paper. Paper tells you the opening, your skin tells you the whole story.
  • Give it time. A great fragrance evolves over an hour or more as the top notes settle into the heart and base.
  • Sample a few, then take a break. Your nose tires quickly, so space things out and trust the one you keep thinking about.
  • Let memory lead. The best signature scent is usually the one that makes you feel something.
