Day Three Fragrances created Desert Fire with singer-songwriter Colton Dixon, the sequel to Desert Rain. Colton knows fragrance, and the perfumes he reaches for himself are the bold ones: woods, leather, smoke, spice. Desert Rain was inspired by his song "Build a Boat." Desert Fire is inspired by his personal tastes.

 

It opens bright and green with shiso and pink pepper before the spices turn dark and resinous, and then it turns unmistakably bold: palo santo and burning woods smoldering under frankincense and myrrh, with cypriol, resins and leather anchoring a base that holds from the first spray through the end of the night. This is an extrait de parfum, and it was built to be noticed.

TRULY ARTISAN

Each formula is composed by Day Three perfumer,
Michael Paul. After the formula is written, the perfume is then
compounded in house, and left to macerate on site, in our Arizona lab.

Every single bottle is poured by the perfumer, and assembled by a member of our family. Then, those bottles are labeled and boxed by hand.

Finally, each and every bottle that leaves our lab is accompanied by a personal, hand written thank you note, and a complimentary sample.
