I probably saw the same review that many of you have seen by a popular reviewer and after seeing the review, I was intrigued.
I got the discovery set and the first time I tried Bani, I couldn't get much of a scent off it...thought it was dry, bland, nothing there.
I gave it another test run and it was a complete 180. Gave it a third try and once again, it came through ***magnificently.***
That's how I'd describe Bani, it's MAGNIFICENT. It's sweet and light at the same time, it smells the way a proper mango tastes and is so fine tuned. You ever see that Fruit Gushers commercial from back in the day where the kids eat the snacks and their heads turn into fruit? That's me when I spray Bani.
I get all day performance from it and it's unisex, give this one a second, or third chance if it doesn't wow you on the first go. I'm happy to have this in my collection as a summer essential. Projection and performance are GREAT, it's a real workhorse.
The presentation and the glass bottle are wow factors for me as well, Day Three nailed the aesthetic look and I find the design important, so all across the board, it's a win/win. It's a regal, luxurious look and feel and when you're handling it to spray some on, you get the inclination that it's money well spent...and it is.
Fresh and sweet fruity burst upon spraying, gets powdery afterward and then settles into a comforting scent which I can only describe as the good old days. If comfortable memories had a scent, the end game dry down would be that scent.
This could work all year round, I can wear this running errands, to the gym, out to the mall, wherever. It's a fun, easy reach fragrance. I can understand some reviews saying it can lean feminine, but I'm a dude and it works even for guys...it's not a far masculine, or far feminine scent...it sits right in the middle, it's just right.
This one had good performance for me, got a solid 6 - 8 hours. Of course, I wouldn't take anybody's word for it, get the discovery set if you're curious about any of the fragrances.
I was very impressed with how many samples received. Going through the different scents now. Warm masculine scents so far.
