Plantains have a special place in my heart, so I needed to try this. Very happy I did! I really get the smell of sweet plantains and pineapples in the opening. It has a beautiful and elegant dry down on my skin. I highly recommend getting a discovery set, since you get to use the cost of it towards a full bottle.
this is nostalgia in a bottle for me! reminds me of eating a plateful of sliced mangos and chewing on pieces of sugarcane at my grandmothers house in india when I was a kid. the scent is reminiscent of the smell of your hands in the aftermath- sweet, juicy, fresh, with a hint of zest. the coconut in this is so complementary to the other notes- it doesnt come off as soapy or overpowering. rather, it makes the fragrance float and feel airy vs. a sickly sweet. the dry down isnt powdery and the longevity is AMAZING. I bought a travel size but I cant wait to purchase a full bottle. will be my go to all spring and summer.
This scent takes me back to eating mangos and chewing on pieces of sugarcane as a kid visiting my grandma's house in India. This smells like my hands sticky from the mango skin and juices from the fruit and sugarcane. As someone who usually shies away from coconut (usually smells like soap on me and overpowers other notes), in this perfume its like coconut sugar. It adds an airiness to the perfume making the sweetness float- not too sticky not too powdery, just right. It's fresh, juicy, sweet, and one of a kind. I bought a travel size to start off, but a full bottle is a MUST.
Love it so much! This is my new favorite perfume. I do reapply it in the middle of the day maybe because I get used to it.
